Is it necessary to be a Palencia Club member to reserve the clubhouse for an event?

The Palencia Club welcomes everyone to host events in the clubhouse. Members do have special privileges – check with the Banquet Director when making arrangements.

Do you allow outside catering?

All catering is done by our Executive Chef. No outside food or beverage required. All beverages will be provided and served by the Club’s professional staff.

Can I bring in my own wedding cake?

This is the only exception to the catering question above. This is an option that will be considered if the cake is prepared by a licensed business.

What is the amount needed to hold/reserve a date for an event?

A deposit of $1,000 or 50% of the estimated event charges along with a signed event agreement. This deposit will be credited toward your final invoice.

What is the cancellation policy?

Weddings or Receptions need to be cancelled at least six months in advance of the event date or be subject to a cancellation fee or loss of the deposit. See the event agreement for more details on cancellations within the six months & for other events.

What is provided?

The Palencia Club is proud to offer many features including 15’x 15’ dance floor; cake cutting, plating & service; mirrored centerpieces; white table cloths; and a complementary champagne toast for the bride and groom, to mention a few. For nominal fees AV equipment, chocolate or champagne fountains are available.

Do I have to use your vendors?

The Palencia Club has a preferred list but it is not necessary to use these specific vendors. Your vendors must present the Club with their license and proof of insurance.
